The Jahia Document Management Server

The Jahia Platform includes a complete WEBDAV compliant document management system. Fully integrated with Jahia, it automatically reuses the Jahia users and permissions. A Windows client is also available for power users in order to mount their Jahia WebDAV repository like any other Windows network drive.

The Jahia Search and Indexation Server

The Jahia Platform is natively coupled with an integrated and powerful search engine based on Apache Lucene. Each Jahia content update or file modifications is then automatically indexed by the Jahia system. Of course all hidden metadata such as permissions, modes, languages, back-end properties are also indexed and can be retreived in near real time.

The Jahia Collaborative Suite - BETA Release

Jahia now also offers a Collaborative Suite. Currently in Beta version, the objective is to provide ready to use, tested and pre-integrated collaborative features to your Jahia Platform. This includes a full JSR168 compliant Calendar Server, a powerful Discussion Forum, a Webmail portlet or a RSS syndication portlet. Jahia also integrates a Web and SQL Clipping Builder allowing power users to easily create JSR168 portlets without any technical experience from any existing web page or SQL sources.

The Jahia ESI Cache Proxy Server

For performance reasons, the Jahia platform can be combined with one or several front-end HTML cache proxy. Based on the ESI/JESI open standard, it caches and dynamically assemble HTML fragment of a page. This allows the template developer to cache and optimize his web pages according to each fragment (e.g. reload a menu without flushing the header or the footer).
