A Windows client is also available for power users in order to mount their Jahia WebDAV repository like any other Windows network drive.

Jahia Enterprise Capabilities

Jahia core architecture provides transversal features defining Jahia as real Enterprise class software. Jahia integrates a personalization engine and powerful cache mechanism dedicated to heavy load support and performance.This allows the template developer to cache and optimize web pages according to each fragment (e.g. reload a menu without flushing the header or the footer). The Jahia Platform is also natively coupled with an integrated and powerful search engine based on Apache Lucene. Each Jahia content update or file modification is then automatically indexed by the Jahia system. Of course all hidden metadata such as permissions, modes, languages, back-end properties are also indexed and can be retreived in near real time. Adding clustering and distant server publication capabilities, Jahia confirm its unique positioning as an Open, Enterprise class J2EE architecture.
