Jahia Commercial Editions Licenses are not free of charge. You can download and install them without paying any royalties for your test or development purposes. You can also redistribute them to any third parties for R&D use.
But if you want to use them on a production server, you will still have to pay a license fee in cash or in kind by financing new product evolutions (contribute or pay paradigm) according to the Jahia Sustainable Software License concept.
The Jahia SVN that gives access to the entire source code is available here.
Our customers pay their Jahia Commercial Editions license fees in cash or in kind by financing new product evolutions. To understand this win-win licensing model,
The “Contribute or Pay” paradigm is a stable and well-balanced software development and business model for all actors, leveraging open source contribution model and best practices, but adapting to the actual need of business application architecture development with a software editor approach:
In order to enforce a strong quid-pro-quo paradigm within the Jahia community, active contributors are encouraged with discounts or even license suppression according to their contributions to the project while "passive users" (free-riders) pay license fees. All contributors can then be rewarded for their work. This is why we called this commercial license with source "sustainable".
Check this page to get more information about the contribution model.
