It's hard to believe that spring is here, and before we know it the next version of Jahia will be completed. This newsletter focuses on major enhancements such as workflow and modules but also key features such as the multiscripting and auto-completion.
The future for Jahia looks set to be just as exciting and full of opportunity as it did last year with a new Jahia Version scheduled for late mid-year 2010. This new version will become more social and collaborative than ever with the ability to tune your Jahia solution with new sets of modules.
The main focus during this sprint was on the Jahia back-end system but several key front-end functionalities have been added as well. We have implemented new services, which both improve the general velocity of the R&D team and will ease the life of our integrating partners.
This newsletter highlights the work that has been done by the R&D Team during the last sprint. We are really proud of last month’s team velocity as we achieved major user stories with a particular focus on quality. Additionally, we have worked on new third-party modules, which allow you to extend your software solutions with tags, rating, top stories and more.
Last month was really fruitful in term of product development. The watchwords for the R&D Team were Consolidation, Quality and Testing. In addition to the consolidation of the JCR 2.0 / JSR 283 integration, last sprint was dedicated to some interesting evolution on the extensions architecture and search implementation sides.
